Converted my Fermonster lid so that I can do closed transfers at ~2 psi. Using a 1/2" paddle bit to bore the hole and voila I created a very low pressure closed transfer vessel. Note that I use the pressure in my sanitized and purged keg to provide the pressure as it's filling. It has worked flawlessly for the last four batches.

I jammed this post through the hole in the ten inch stopper on my Fermonster(not easy but it will fit) This enables me to add a couple lbs of pressure for a pressure transfer out the spigot to my keg. If you do this you must make sure to hold onto the stopper while slowly adding only about 3 to 4 lbs of pressure. The stopper will want to pop off like a champagne cork if you let go. I may get a solid red lid and drill a hole for the post in the future but for now this method seems to work just fine.

Can you use this for a keezer collar attachment? Have your CO2 tank outside with this in the collar post outside and some sort of duotight adapter inside?

Can anyone verify that the threads are 1/4” BSP and not NPT?
Yes, BSP as advertised. This will not work with NPT due to the difference geometries regarding thread angle and lack of a taper which NPT expects.

Will this fit at the end of a manifold rather than replacing one of the existing valves?
I used this ball lock post for a DYI bucket fermentation lid to purge out air using my C02 gas. Worked very well for my NEIPA beers not to get oxygen very cheap way to make this brew work especially during dry hopping

I am trying to use this inside my fridge so I can disconnect my co2 tank and use elsewhere as needed. I got a 1/4 in. nut with barb attachment and it’s too small. What size nut and flare fitting will I need?

Can you swap the Inlet Port and the Plug on the other end if I want to change the orientation of the manifold?
