No one likes waiting, and the QuickCarb keg carbonator by Blichmann Engineering is the way to eliminate the wait from carbonating your homebrew.  This high-pressure co2-injection system from Blichmann Engineering™ will carbonate a keg in 30 minutes, with no chance of over carbonating your beer.  All connectors are included, and the unit hangs from the front of your keg.

Use is simple,  just sanitize the unit using the built in pump, and connect hoses to your Keg and CO2 system.  Turn on the gas, plug in the unit, and 30-40 minutes later, your beer will be perfectly carbonated.  Cleanup is just as easy, as you can run cleaner and sanitizer through the system using the pump as well.

BEST ANSWER: Hi Ken. There is no needed extra parts to make this carbonation masterpiece work its magic. For a little extra little helpful hint get the twist off connectors and you can use this a keg filler as well. Have fun. Keep on brewing. Cheers
Hello, in my country the voltage is 220 volts, that means I can not use the Blichmann QuickCarb?

BEST ANSWER: I would research the use of a voltage converter if I was interested in this quick carb. I would contact blichman directly and give them your scenario. They will be able to give you the best advice and recommendations.
Does this item come with a hard case? I just got mine in the mail it came loose in a white cardboard box, no case.

BEST ANSWER: It use to. I got mine 2 years ago and it came with a “ok” black plastic case. Now it seems that there is no case with it. Truthfully you can probably buy a nicer case on Amazon for $10-$15.
Can you daisy chain multiple kegs to carbonate all at one time?

BEST ANSWER: I think you could if you were doing multiple kegs of same beer but not sure hiw efficient it would be. I beleive ststem is meant to carb to about 80% in about an hour so you can drink it that day. I usually use in on one 5 gal keg and put my other 5 gal keg on CO2 til I tap it. If you need to carb up more, I think a unitank or brite would be better for 100% carb at the vols you need for beer style. Cheers!
What's the difference between getting a Kegging System and getting a Blichmann QuickCarb for a keg?

BEST ANSWER: Hey James, I'm not sure what "Kegging System" you are thinking about but I have a QuickCarb and it works pretty good for carbonating corny kegs and half barrels after you keg them. Before getting this we would add sugar to the kegs before filling to get them to carbonate or force carb them after. The quickCarb system will let you control the amount of carb much better and it only takes 20-45 minutes.
Will this work right out of the box for Sanke kegs, or will I need to get that attachment?

Circulating pump is gentle and is powered with a simple DC transformer (included)
Power Adaptor: 120VAC to 6VDC (European plug adapter if required)
The flow of water is going to the CO2 supply instead of the Keg Inlet. What do I need to do to get the flow back to normal? I don't want to end up getting water inside my regulator

There are a few questions I would like to ask before purchasing this product.

1) Is it for 110V? Can you use only the adapters in 220V countries?

2) I have a lot of Torpedo 1.5 gallon kegs for the size of the refrigerator, and I wonder if the time to carbonize 1.5 gallons is shorter.

BEST ANSWER: This item is for 110V, the time for carbonating will take less time if you use a smaller keg.

Works Great, but...
I had to knock off two stars because I guess Blichman made some cuts and no longer sends their products in the nice branded hard shell cases. Totally not a deal breaker for me but a company of their size and industry respect should make that clear to long time customers who expect a certain level of quality from them. The improvements they made since the first quick carb are fantastic, this product is still worth the purchase regardless of no case and great to have around when you just want to get something carbbed up quick.

Never worry about serving flat beer ever
I enjoy using the carbonation it’s pretty easy to use. Only need to remember to follow the flow of the beer and prepare a bucket of cleaner and one of sanitizer

Quick and easy carbonation
I was not sure how difficult it would be to setup with all the parts, but it turned out to be super easy. I was able to get my first carbonation done in about 1.5 hours from box open till cleaned and back in the box. The results were perfect with a 45 min run time with 14 pounds at 39 degrees. Yes it is a bit costly, but the results are outstanding considering similar results would take 10-14 days

What a tool!
I bought the Blichmann QuickCarb months ago and they finally came back into stock. My main use is carbonated water. I like to have a 5 gallon Corny keg with water in my kegerator at all times. This unit will carbonate a keg in about 40 minutes to 30psi. The only problem I had was that the water would sneek up the gas line between kegs if I don't close off the gas valve, so remember to do so. I've also carbonated a hard cider I made and am going to try with a wine next.

Great for our Nano!
We own a small nano brewery (1bbl) and this little beast can carb our kegs and we don’t waste a bunch of CO2 to headspace in our brite tank. We can half of the beer and can condition, so this tool is really helpful for our really small operation.

Worked Once
The first time I used this it worked great. Second time the beer was still flat, even though I ran the carb for 45 minutes. By the third time it didn't work at all. I've tried every method of cleaning the carb stone and still doesn't work.

in theory this is a great product, in reality, not so much.
