Description

Most oxygen regulators only regulate pressure but the Blichmann Oxygen Flow Regulator allows you to dial in the actual rate of flow. Turn the dial to your preferred flow rate, measured in liters of oxygen per minute, and you can feel confident in knowing precisely how much oxygen is being introduced into your wort. It is important to know the flow of oxygen because depending on your downstream restriction the actual flow can vary a lot. Remove the guess work with the Oxygen Flow Regulator from Blichmann.

Measuring your dissolved oxygen usually would run you $300 or more but with the Oxygen Flow Regulator you can know exactly how much oxygen was put into your wort for less than $50.

I was tired of buying the single use oxygen tanks. This will allow me to connect my oxygenation stone directly to my main oxygen tank with flow control.

The nipple on the bottom of my last one sheared off when I was reattaching my hose line to it. Blichmann doesn't just sell the little nipple of course.

A giant step up from small bottle O2 systems
I was getting tired of buying expensive small oxygen bottles for every third our fourth brew. Also disposing of the empties was concerning. This regulator coupled with a refillable tank is the best looking term solution. Flow is controlled without the guesswork. Much more efficient in the long run.

Hose barb breaks easily
The hose barb is made from incredibly weak metal, it snapped off when when I adjusted it with a wrench, moments after taking it out of the box. If this piece was replaced with a more durable metal, we would have no issue and this would function well.

works fine, BUT inaccurate description
First, it is not new. I've been using one for years. others have been selling this exact piece for years, in various colors (green, gold, red). Blichman just wrote their name on this one and made it silver.

Additionally, it DOES NOT actually MEASURE flow AS CLAIMED IN THE THE DESCRIPTION, it just sets an estimated flow as written on the black endcap knob.
