Description

The Blichmann Floor Standing Burner is one of the most popular styles of burners, and it is beloved for its sturdy base and durable construction. Now, with the Blichmann Floor Standing Burner Leg Extensions, you can add even more height to your existing brew setup. These leg extensions on the floor will add an extra 24 inches in height to your burner, but because they’re made of durable stainless steel, they won’t compromise the durability of your setup.

Blichmann’s leg extensions are ideal for anyone who wants to raise their burner in order to use gravity to drain the brew into a carboy or fermenter. If your kettle contains an attached ball valve, all you’ll have to do is simply attach the leg extensions and twist the valve open to drain it into a separate container. Stop struggling to lift the heavy kettle from the burner and add these reliable Blichmann leg extensions to your floor standing burner.

Please Note: These extensions DO NOT work with the new Hellfire Burner.

I have the plain Blichman Top Tier burner, "floor standing" with the short legs. If I add these legs to it, I won't have to prop the burner up on blocks.

Solid, but Low
These exceeded my expectations for both steadiness and strength. One I tried them with a heavy pot, I never thought about it again. I would prefer to have them a few inches taller, however, but that’s because my *primary* use is cooking. They’re fine for any decent-size brewpot from 10 gallons up.

Worth the upgrade
I don't use a pump so the extra height was needed when transferring the wort to my brew bucket. Quick installation and a really helpful upgrade for the Blichmann burner.

Extensions aren't Extension
I love the quality of the burner, but was disappointed to find out that the leg "extensions" aren't extensions, but just replacements for the 9.5" legs that come standard. I had planned the purchase around the idea that the final height of the burner would be more than 24" but you don't get an extra 24", it's ultimately more like 13.5" and unfortunately not tall enough to allow for a complete gravity drain into my new SS Brewtech Chronical. I'm thinking it's possible to modify the longer legs into actual bolt-on extensions so there is hope yet! Still a nice product, just misleading wording on the product name and description.

solid, strongly advise the purchase
These are absolutely fantastic and extremely stable. I had my kettle filled with 17 gallons of wort boiling away and was just as solid with the short legs. Installation is simple and easy to do.

Awesome
Purchased this with the burner. Absolutely love the extra height and saves the back when it comes time to move a full wort.

Top Tier Replacment
I Got these and through them up on some cynder blocks to raise my HLT. It worked out so well I think it is going to replace my top tier investment for the time being.

fits well and strong
These fit well and are strong. I cook 12 gal. at a time with no issues.

High quality upgrade to a high quality burner
Surprisingly stable design due to the very rigid legs. The 24" height is sufficient to gravity flow to g?_rfass, but I bolted the original legs to the bottom of the leg extensions for even more height, bringing it to approximately a countertop height.

Response from MoreFlavor
Thats a great idea. Do you have any issues with it flexing with the weight of the wort on the burner?

Save your back!
These are no-brainers. Blichmann should give you the option buying these with the burner instead of the shorties which are now just sitting collecting dust.

Simple upgrade that makes brew day easier
Super easy to install.
No excess bending over to stir or monitor.
Raises your kettle enough to to simple gravity feed in to you fementer, no pouring or siphoning.

Definitely worth the couple bucks if you have their burner.
