Description

The BrewVision is the new brewing assistant from Blichmann. Life can be hectic, especially on brew day. Make it easier by putting all the information you need about your beer in the palm of your hand. The BrewVision allows you to track up to 7 sensors from your iphone or ipad. You can set alarms and timers based on temperatures and the app records all of your data so you can review to see how well you really hit those mash temps. The BrewVision also integrates with Beersmith which allows you to download your recipes straight from the cloud.

Your kettle is a hot place and the transmitter can be vulnerable to the high heat. To fix this Blichmann has made a few accessories to protect the BrewVision from the heat. A stovetop heatshield (BL282), the universal heatshield (BL283), or the high temp USB cable (BL281) which allows you to mount the transmitter away from the kettle.

Worth it.

I just put 1 on my BK and 1 on my mash tun and have brewed with it once. Having both show up on my phone gave me the freedom to get other things done without missing when to turn the burners down or up. For me it was worth the money.
