Only lasted a few brews before splitting in two

Had the OG one for at least 10 years with out issue. Finally let go. Ok with that. This replacement is 12 months old. Used maybe 6 times and split. Looks like they have some quality control issues around a mold parting line? Or if its extruded where they try and bond it.

saved the batch

I ordered this as a safety measure in case the old gasket gave up the ghost. Sure enough, it happened and this gasket arrived just in time. Disaster averted!!

Poor quality of rubber gasket

I purchased this product in 5/17 to replace the original gasket that lasted 15 yrs. After just 4 brews, the last one in Dec. 17, the gasket has torn completely in half. The original lasted 15 yrs; the replacement less than 1 yr.
