Description

Use buffer solutions to keep your pH meter calibrated. These are the same 3 solution powders that are included with the Beverage Doctor pen-style pH meter (MT624). We would strongly recommend if you haven't used your Beverage Doctor in a while to always use a buffer solution before you start your brew.

Directions:
  • Completely empty the powder into a clean glass jar
  • Add 8.5 oz of deinoized water
  • Stir until the powder has completely dissolved

Hello I have trouble finding deinoized water will distilled water work for the pH buffering solution ?
William Hardin on Jun 8, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Distilled water works great for these. The distilling process removes the all of the same ions that a deionization or a reverse osmosis filter will remove. If you're wondering you can always test your water with a cheap TDS (total disolved solids) meter.
Can I use distilled water or do I have to purchase water that is labeled deionized water?
Soren Jensen on Mar 6, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Hello Soren, the manufacturer directs to use deionized water. Using something other than may result in a buffer solution that's not accurate.
