Description

Siphon starter for transferring liquids and bottling. Very easy to use and sanitize. A single stroke starts the siphon without disturbing the sediment. Precision designed for smooth, leak-free operation.

The Regular Auto Siphon is recommended for use with standard buckets and carboys. We strongly recommend you use 5/16 in ID tubing (not 3/8 in) to prevent air leaks from stopping the siphon. Outer diameter of the siphon shaft is 7/8 inches.

BEST ANSWER: Hello Pat - Length of main body is 23 1/4". This does not include the inner priming tube and bend.

The wand, from top to bottom of removeable tip, is a tad over 23 inches.

A tad is very close to 1/8 inch.

Very helpful

The auto siphon made transferring our home made choke cherry wine from the secondary fermenter to the clarifying fermenter a snap. Easy and without any mess. We look forward to using it for bottling in a few weeks

Product is good, but *this* one is defective.

I've used the same product many times over the yearst, with no issues, but apparently the one I just received was an outlier. About halfway through racking, it lost its seal and started to bubble and wheeze. My advice would be to test before using on wort/beer.
