Check oak cubes before transferring to carboy!
I haven't finished the kit yet, so hopefully I can update this review later. But I wanted to warn others of a problem I encountered in process. The instructions say to transfer to a carboy after primary fermentation, then a day later stir in chitosan and oak cubes. My oak cubes packet had 4 cubes that wouldn't come close to fitting through the neck of the carboy. I had to transfer to a bucket fermenter in order to add the oak cubes. If you try this kit, open the oak cubes and take a look before transferring to a carboy.
