Great Book. Spent 40 years in the business and learned a lot.
The book went into a lot of stuff that I never knew. The small stills were festinating. I've got the distilling bug now and am going to try my hand at it.

A great primer on spirits
A well written, beautifully photographed primer on spirit production and some underlying history supporting why things are they way they are. Not a how-to book but increased my knowledge of production methods, still types, and how these might impact the flavor.
