Description
The Stainless Bucket Fermentor is the perfect fermentation vessel for 5 gallon batches. The small design enables it to easily fit inside a refrigerated unit. 
 
Also available in 4 gallon size for 2.5 to 3 gallon batches.

BEST ANSWER: Yes. I have harvested yeast many times. You have to dump the trub to another vessel but it’s easy to do.
Can the barb on the spigot be changed to a smaller size?

BEST ANSWER: I wont recommend to pressurize this bucket. It is not designed for it. Rather than that, it is a great product.
Is there a temperature limit for this? Can boiling water be poured in to sanitize?

This says it has LCD thermometer, but it's not pictured nor do I see a thermowell. Is the thermometer integrated into this, or present at all?

BEST ANSWER: Hi Mark - The description of the product mentions a "Liquid Crystal Thermometer" which is the stick-on thermometer strip. Also, a thermowell is not included with the purchase of the unit.
What is the diameter of unit without including the handles?

Works great but...
One of the four clips at the top that hold the lid sealed was not positioned properly. Had to modify it in order to get a good seal.

Still happy with it as the price was great vs the value. Wasn't built as well as I would have hoped though.

Anvil 7.5 gallon fermenter, so close to 5 stars.
Excellent fermenter, I withheld one star due to one of the latches being misaligned (it requires a shim under the latch). Other than that it’s great, easy to clean and drains perfectly!

Love it!
I've been using the fermenter as a secondary bucket. It's really nice because the trub and other bi-products cling to the sides and bottom of the stainless. The valve allows for easy dumping straight to a key. Super easy to clean. Not the thickest stainless but, it really doesn't need to be. I'd buy one again in a heartbeat if I had a multiple brews going at a time!

This is a great fermenter
This is a great fermenter. I have bought 2. The only issue I have is the volume markings of the fermenter are off by about 1 quart.
On mine if the volume markers indicate 4 3/4 gallons it is in fact a measured 5 gallons. This is not a big deal to me as I use the volume markings on my BrewTech 10 gallon kettle, which are correct.

Great build quality, could be a bit taller.
Item has good build quality but is a little short compared to other SS kettles, this tends to only be an issue with heating wraps/ferm wraps. Just something to keep in mind.
