BEST ANSWER:It’s not rated for pressure transfers and the seal on the lid may not hold. You might be able to get away with 1 or 2 PSI pushing the beer. Full disclosure: I’ve never tried a pressure transfer with this fermenter.

BEST ANSWER:Hi Mark - The description of the product mentions a "Liquid Crystal Thermometer" which is the stick-on thermometer strip. Also, a thermowell is not included with the purchase of the unit.

This is a great fermenter. I have bought 2. The only issue I have is the volume markings of the fermenter are off by about 1 quart. On mine if the volume markers indicate 4 3/4 gallons it is in fact a measured 5 gallons. This is not a big deal to me as I use the volume markings on my BrewTech 10 gallon kettle, which are correct.
Item has good build quality but is a little short compared to other SS kettles, this tends to only be an issue with heating wraps/ferm wraps. Just something to keep in mind.
