This Anvil Brewing burner is fast, quiet and efficient. It comes with an adjustable height, a rust free aluminum burner, and many more features you'll love.

I liked the height and stance, plus this unit puts out 72K Btus which is enough for a 10 gallon kettle. It is also one of the few that can be modified to use Natural Gas.

What is the largest diameter this burner can support? I have the 20 Gal SS Brew Kettle BME. Campchef burner doesnt seem to support it stabily.

BEST ANSWER: The burner is designed to handle a kettle up to 20 gallons. It will be more stable at the lower height settings.
I'm new to brewing and i'm doing 1 gallon and some 2 gallon batches. Will this go low enough to do them on? My electric stove doesnt do to well during the boil.

BEST ANSWER: you should be fine. I consider this burner a little step up from your traditional stove top gas burner. I use it for 5 gallon batches as a burner. For 10 gallon batches it's used to bring my 1/2 barrel mash tun temp up a few degrees if needed.

When the burner is at his lowest height setting of 7”, is there still room to connect the propane line if the burner is sitting on the ground? I noticed that the threaded connection points down, and it seems like a tight squeeze.

BEST ANSWER: Yes. That should not be a problem. I did buy the extension legs so I wouldn’t have to bend as much. I love it! Works great and very sturdy!

Can u hook up the anvil burner to a 100lb. Propane cylinder?

BEST ANSWER: Hi Bernard - If you have the correct regulator, we believe that a 100lb cylinder would be compatible but also we would recommend calling Blichmann engineering (our supplier for this product) at 765-421-2018 to make sure.

Not Impressed
There is no air flow adjustment and I;m getting TONS of yellow flame and a TON of soot. Double checked that everything is assembled right and that there were no blockages. Very frustrating, may have to try rigging an air flow adjustment. Guess I should have bought another cheap burner, at least they work. My buddy has one and it works fine. The instructions are ridiculous, "DO NOT light or operate the burner in any position between off and high" So I guess it has only two settings off and blast furnace. It is important to be able to adjust temp, which is impossible if you can only operate burner on off or high. Total cr*p!!

So far so good.
Arrived missing a piece (the brass fitting that connects gas line to burner) but other than that exceeds expectations. Good air/propane blend so no soot. Auto-leveling feet don't do much sadly. I brew on a graded driveway and it sits very uneaven.

Anvil B urner
Only used it once so far.. Some smell of burning paint. Flames have yellow tips at high in the intake to increase air flow.er settings indicating insufficient oxygen for complete combustion. That was with the air intake wide open. Thought about removing the safety screen
Really enjoy the flat top surface making it easy to get heavy pots on and off the burner

Worked great but could use some temp range specs
We love the burner- it boiled our water so quickly! Only drawback is we feel more fo should be provided about range of temp. What temp is lowest setting? Middle? Highest?

Early review is fantastic
Upgrade from 3 gallon pot in the kitchen. This is great.
I hooked it up using LNG to my outside line, so it is about hal the BTU of propane, but that is fine. still boiled the 4 gallons in less that 10 minutes.
Only issue I had was that they sent a few extra nuts and bolts, which always makes me nervous that I missed something ;)

Nice Burner!!
The Anvil burner worked very well on my 1st batch. Assembly was straight forward although it took about an hour to get it all put together and ready to use. Provided plenty of heat to achieve and maintain a rolling boil for 5 gallon batch with 8 gallon initial boil volume. Height worked well for my set-up

The burner works very well really nice flame I actually use it for cooking doing stirfry’s with my old steel walk and using it for my lobster pot
