Uncle Sam wants YOU to brew this beer! Our American Ale kit produces a light colored, hoppy Pale Ale that puts the beloved Cascade hop on full display. With just a touch of Crystal malt, the hop character is really allowed to shine. Cascade hops are one of the classic American hop varieties, and we love them for their citrus, grapefruit character. You'll find that American Ale is light in color but not in flavor!

another favorite
it is one of my favorites. I find it a bit hoppy so I useally cut the bitering addition down to .8 oz.

American Ale
Just tapped it. Clean & crisp taste with a nice hop finish. A great Beer to kick off the warmer spring weather as we move into summer! If your looking to brew a traditional ale packed with good flavor, then give it a try.

First All Grain
Restarted this hobby last summer, doing the extract version of this kit, which was very good. The all grain version is much better. The color is so pale, the flavor is bright and crisp. Not too hop-forward. Doesn't try to do too much.

Really good kit.

American Ale First Brew
This was my first all grain brew. I had a great time and it came out just as advertised. Slight Hop smell, great color, great taste!
