Description

The Copper Pot Still is perfect when you want the flavor of the wash to come through, whereas a Reflux Still is more favorable for producing pure, unflavored spirits. If you want to make whiskeys and gins, this pot still top is a great way to start! The classic "V" shape captures the vital esters, aldehydes, and phenolic compounds that are necessary for the complex spirits such as whiskeys and gins. Made from solid copper. When your hot spirit comes into contact with the copper, the copper acts like a catalytic converter to drive sulfur out of the spirit. This leads to less off-flavors and higher quality spirit.

This is only the still top and does not come with a boiler. This is only the still top and does not come with a boiler. Combine with a distillation lid to use a BrewZilla or DigiBoil as the base for this Alcoengine brand still top.

Comes with 13 mm (0.51") barb connections for the water inlet and outlet.

I'd like to upgrade the thermometer (or use my Thermoworks chefalarm/smoke wireless). What size temp probe would I need to securely fit the opening?

Why?
Had the same problem. The water connections point UP. Poor designing, guys!

Not what I thought it would be….
Wouldn’t recommend this with the water lines pointing up . I guess the lines of water are supposed to come from the ceiling.
