Just unpacked the kettle and it arrived scratched up despite being packed well... It's probably not worth my trouble to send back over cosmetics as I'm not so picky but FYI to anyone who likes their new purchases to not look used...

Ordered this kettle 11/2024. Kettle is sturdy and durable. I liked the lower height and wider diameter compared to other kettles because it fits perfectly over two burners on my stove and the lower profile allows plenty of clearance from the kettle to my exhaust hood. The only issue is that the volume markers are stamped too low. The actual volume is at the top of the numbers and not at the line.

I really like the boil pot my wife got me for Christmas. I am able to brew 5 gal. batches now all in one pot. The handles are heat and slip resistant, which really helps when moving boiling wort. The only issue I have is that I can hardly see the volume markers (which is one of the main reasons I wanted the pot in the first place). The stamping is not clear like the photo on the web page and is very hard to read wile boiling wort.

This was the kettle I bought as an upgrade to BIAB brewing from extract brewing. I have been very satisfied with it, as I can do full-boil 5-gallon batches with room to spare. My only criticism is the lid is pretty thin (a non-issue), the bottom is not tri-clad (non-issue for me), and it doesn't hold heat very well during a mash. I use towels to help hold the heat in, and put the stovetop on low heat to compensate. I have it dialed in now, just takes some getting used to. All in all, I'm very happy with it.

I’ve been using this pot for over a year now I’m really like it. I mostly brew 5 gallon batches. Some of my pre-boil volumes are 7.24 gallons. I haven’t had a boil over yet although I am with it like a hawk as I’m approaching boil. I brew a couple batches a month and it seems to be holding up just fine. I added a nice thermometer with the money I saved. I only brew on gas so the bottom works fine for me. Are there better pots on the market? Sure but this one does everything I need it to do at a reasonable price. I typically batch sparge so I’m heating 3 different batches of water and the boil. Overall it’s a sturdy, nice pot.

Simply put this is an awesome boil pot for the money. I have a heavier duty one I've used for years and wanted a second one for brewing double batches. After using this one I'll be using it as my primary boil pot and if I purchase another it will be this one. Very well made for the money and quite convenient with the liquid level markings etched into the pot. Simply add a thermometer and your ready to Go! You'll love it!

I have 15 gallon heavy duty kettles for mash/boil and use this as my hot liquor tank. I do lose more temperature in this compare to something that cost much more and is worth it. But if gets the job done.

I use this to heat up my mash and sparge water. Perfect for the price! Quality welds.

This brew kettle does the job just as well as one costing 3x as much. Welded connections are much more reliable and easy to clean compared to weldless bulkheads. Get this one and put the money you save into a high quality ball valve and thermometer. Or even use a 1/2" MPT to Tri-Clover fitting to build an impressive looking set-up.

awesome kettle for the price and perfect size for all 5 gallon batches w/out any spill overs (though some close calls). my preboil volumes are about 6.5gal.if you don't want to spend $300+ for a blichmann kettle, get this one and buy the add-ons. note, though, that you'll have to use a custom made measuring stick to know the water volume inside (being there there is no spot for a sight glass).the proportions are much better than my old kettle and this one gets to a boil and maintains heat pretty well.

I started brewing with this pot and for the price it does a good job. I have since bought a better brew pot and bought a false bottom. This is the pot I now use for steeping my all grain kits. Works great with the false bottom.

Couldn't beat this for the price... thanks Morebeer Deal of the Day! But even for 5.5 gallon batches, my preboil volumes are too big for this kettle. If possible, look for at least a 10 gallon kettle. Better yet, look for a 15 gallon kettle so you can make 10 gallon batches with ease.

I have used this exclusively now for over a year.... Cant go wrong for the price !!! Switching to 10 gallon batches but will still use this to heat my strike water !!

I use this kettle as a mash tun. The walls are thin but it definitely does the job at the right price!

I've been using this kettle every 2 weeks for the past 2 years and it has held up beyond any reasonable expectation. I put this thing through some serious work over the past 2 years and it is in tip top shape today. Great value. Outfitted with a ball valve and thermometer.

Slightly on the thin side but still durable. The threaded fittings makes this a great buy. Easy to customize, I used it as my hot liquor tank in the all grain 5G setup I used. There could be potential for scorching if planning to use as wort kettle, so pour gingerly if going extract on this.

This is not a heavy-walled pot but it does the job just fine. I bought a spigot and a thermometer I screwed into the threaded ports and have been very happy with this product.

I have used this kettle 3 tines now. I'm very satisfied as it is good quality and Of adequate volume for standard 5 gallon boils. I've had no trouble with scorching my wort or problems associated with uneven heating on the bottom of the pot. I will be purchasing another. Morebeers staff was also very helpful in aiding me with finding the appropriate accessories to install on ny kettle. Thank you

Very good kettle for the money. Solidly made and the fact that it comes fitted with couplers for a thermometer and ball valve makes it an especially good item for the price. My only squawk is the handle on the lid. Although the lid fits fairly well it has a tiny little lift handle that I simply can't get grip on with a potholder. If you are boiling with the lid on it can be a little touchy getting it off. I plan to epoxy a wooden knob to the handle to fix the problem for me. Aside from this small issue I am very satisfied and look forward to using this kettle for years.
