2.5 gal. Keg Party Pack

2.5 gal. Keg Party Pack

Item currently out of stock

Ideal for the weekend get away!

This kit is ideal for bottle conditioning your keg with 2oz of corn sugar at room temperature for about a week before you take your homebrew on a road trip.

Or you can use our jumper line and transfer clear beer from your 5 gallon keg to your 2.5 gallon keg leaving all the yeast behind. This way when you go to the party your beer is serving sparkling clear.

Use the C02 injector to dispense beer when ever you need more co2 pressure to serve.

A little trick: Get yourself a 5 gallon rubbermaid cooler. This keg fits like a glove inside. Pack the cooler with ice all around and you'll have cold beer for a couple days.

Another trick is to drill a hole in the cooler lid and feed the beverage line assembly through it (you will have to unscrew a hose clamp...not too hard.) You can arrange somthing similar for the C02 injector as well.

Be gadgety! Be a homebrewer!

Can you force carbonate with this?
Matt on Jan 24, 2019
BEST ANSWER: You can force carbonate with this unit but you will need multiple canisters to make it work. It may take up to 2 cartridges to carb the beer and then 1 more to dispense the beer.

Spend a few more $ and get a regulator that will work and last.
The new keg is beautiful and seals well, once the rubber seals are properly lubed. The picnic tap works as you would expect. The CO2 dispenser is garbage. It blew apart with the first CO2 cartridge I tried. I honestly wish I would have put together a system on my own with a tap handle connected to the ball lock QD and an actual mini regulator. It would have saved me the $200 I had to spend to get a new CO2 tank and full sized regulator from a local homebrew shop, so I could serve the beer at the event I traveled to.

Good start to using kegs fair price.
Overall love it it works for my needs. I don’t like the c02 charger, it’s plastic and appears low quality also would prefer it to have a regulator. For the price it’s a good start that I’ll be upgrading later.

Great Package
I wanted to get into kegging. I do smaller batches because 1) I can't drink that much beer and 2) it's easier to lug around a smaller batch at my age. This fit the bill perfectly. The keg itself is well made and most often dwells in my keezer. But now that the weather is warmer, I'll probably be using the party dispenser more. I would recommend this highly.

Almost Perfect
The size of this little travel keg is perfect for the smaller sized batches that I typically brew. Getting the pressure dialed in initially can be a little tricky, but, once it's good it's pretty easy to keep it consistent.I really only have one complaint about this otherwise great set up and that is that the lid on this particular style keg is oval shaped and very difficult to get seated and sealed properly. I lost carbonation on my first batch using the keg as the seal wasn't quite perfect. I was able to get it seated and sealed eventually and was able to recover the batch but it did cause a bit of frustration. Other than that, this is a great little package that I would highly recommend.

Great little set up
I bought one of these a few months ago and I finally was able to use to this past weekend during a barbecue/beach party. I love how compact this keg is, because it's easy to take anywhere. However the CO2 regulator does get the job done at the event, but I would advise filling it at home before an event because it's easy to add took much CO2 (the trigger to the regulator is a little touchy).
