Description

1.5 inch T.C. end cap for our Conical Fermenter Yeast Harvester (CONP778). This is welded up with a 1/4" fpt and equipped with a Gas Quick Disconnect Set. The other side has a .5 micron Oxygenation stone for cleanly oxygenating your beer before and during fermentation.

I generally get a lot of trub settling in my yeast harvester after racking to the conical. Does anyone know if this would cause issues with using this stone to oxygenate through the layer of trub?

BEST ANSWER: Hi Jeff - The trub shouldn't inhibit the oxygen from getting into your wort, but definitely boil the stone for 15 minutes after or soak it in some pure alcohol overnight to prevent clogging in future uses.
