This is a must have if your using an Inkbird ITC-308 and a fermonster carboy. Worked beyond my expectations.
A standard 3 part fermentation lock easily fits in the drilled hole. Inkbird temp probes fit perfectly in the thermowell. Bung is well made and holds well
I liked how the side of the stopper was ribbed. It made for a tight fit in my lid of my plastic carboy.
It’s a stopper that stops like a stopper. It also has a thermowell in it which makes monitoring temps a breeze. Buy one if you like these qualities in a stopper.
Exactly what I needed to keep temp correct.
These thermowells in conjunction with an Inkbird temp controller have greatly improved the control of my fermentation temperatures.
The four (4) ridges provide a positive lock to my FerMonster fermenters.
This is a must have if your using an Inkbird ITC-308 and a fermonster carboy. Worked beyond my expectations.
Provides a perfect seal for my Fermonster. The thermowell is sized just right for my temperature probe, and allows for consistent temp control.
Worked great with my inkbird.
This is the absolute best stopper I have found for Feemonster lids! It’s soft and has ridges which hold it in place. My inkbird probe fits nicely and really helps regulate internal temp while fermenting or lagering.
Installs firmly in my Fermonster lids. Long enough to reach 5 gallons of wort in a 7 gal fermentor. Well is wide enough to accommodate the temp sensor from my inkbird temp controller. Very satisfied with the results.
Works great for what I use it for
Works great, doesn’t pop out like the smooth ones do.
This stopper thermowell works perfect with my fermonster. No more taping the temperature probe to the side of the fermenter.
Works as described. The #10 stopper I used before would constantly slip out but this one does not. Also the thermowell makes temperature control easier. I used to have my probe taped to the side of the fermenter and required an adjustment to the temp set point to meet my desired fermentation temp.
This stopper has ridges on it, holds much better than the smooth sided one
Love the notches in the stopper. Keep it from popping out when wet with Starsan. Just the right length to locate the temp probe right in the middle of my 7 gallon Fermonsters.
These are the perfect size to use with an Inkbird and Chapman's Univessel fermenters. Great product and price!
Much better fit and it's much more secure than drilling a hole in the stock cap, and using another brand of thermowell.
Does this fit opening in Bucket Buddy lid?
Not sure but it is perfect for my PET 5 and 6 gallon carboys. I have been using with an Ink Bird controller to control fermentation temps while carboy sits a water bath with an aquarium heater.
Will this work with the Johnson A419 temperature controller?
I use an Inkbird so I can't be 100% sure but as long as it has a temp probe that you can place inside the tube you should be good.
Is there a shorter version? I'm interested in this for the 3 gallon fermonster but it seems too long.
Just slide the thermowell up through the stopper to the length you need for the shorter fermonster.
No not that I am aware of . . . You could pull the thermowell tube out of the stopper and cut it down to size in order to make it fit for you.
I don’t see a shorter version on the site but you could remove the thermowell from the stopper and “trim” it to size from the open end.
I haven't seen one that's shorter but you can adjust this one by pulingl the tube upward through the stopper until the bottom is mid point in the fermenter.
does this work with inkbird temp controllers?
I have the ink bird ITC-308S and the probe fits nicely
Not sure about compatibility with Inkbird but works great with my Ranco.
Yes it does.
Yes
Yes. I have an inkbird and it works great.
Yes! That's what I use.
Yes I have used it with an ink bird controller and have no problems.
