I'm going to inculcate my father in the brewing wizardry for Father's Day but he doesn't want to bottle 48 bottles at a time ... About as good a reason as any I suppose.

Happy with the product - but needs a hydrometer
Thanks - it's been a thoroughly enjoyable process.

The equipment is good quality and covered all the essential items. Although, I feel a hydrometer is required to ensure beginner brewers, which this product is aimed at, don't move from primary fermentation too early and potentially create 'bottle bombs'.

My brew has just made it 2 weeks of conditioning in the bottle. Even though I would want to wait for a minimum 3 weeks, I cracked one open to see how the conditioning was progressing. I was pleasantly surprised with the clarity, body and flavor of the beer, even though the carbonation was understandably a little weak.
