Pin lock kegs are essentially the same thing as ball lock kegs, just with different connection fittings. A pin lock corny keg will have beverage and gas posts with little pins on them, which is what allows the quick disconnects to lock on to the keg. Pin lock kegs are also generally a little shorter & wider than their ball lock counterparts.
