As avid homebrewers we feel few beer holidays come close to how important this one is to us. Celebrated on the first Saturday in May every year National Homebrew Day is the day the AHA (American Homebrewers Association) holds its national Big Brew to celebrate homebrewing! On this day homebrewers across the country (and world for that matter) join together and brew a batch of homebrew to celebrate and promote the hobby with others.
Typically the AHA will release one or more recipes for everyone to brew, but you're welcome to brew whatever you like that day. It’s really all about sharing the joy of home brewing and you're encouraged to use it as an opportunity to celebrate and brew with others.
