Aside from National Homebrew Day this one has to our next beer holiday. National Beer Day is celebrated on April 7th every year and marks the day that the Cullen-Harrison Act was enacted into law by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. This led to the repealing of the Eighteenth Amendment with the ratification of the Twenty-first Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Basically, it made it legal to a have beer again!
We’re sure glad we didn’t have to live through those prohibition years. But we’re also very grateful to those who championed the right to have a cold beer! And for that we raise a glass of delicious homebrew every year on National Beer Day!
