  • Last stock! Johnson Analog Temperature Controller

    Analog Temperature Controller

    33 reviews

Use this analog unit to control the temperature of a refrigerator, freezer, or air conditioner. It enables you to ferment and store beer at correct temperatures when the ambient room temperature is too warm. Your electrical cooling device plugs into this unit which plugs into the outlet. A remote sensor connected by a small capillary tube monitors temperatures. If the temperature rises above your set point, the cooling device is turned on. The unit features a 4 degree swing to help extend the life of the cooling unit's compressor. For example, if you had it set at 68 degrees, it would turn on at 68 degrees and go to 64 degrees before turning off. The unit has the potential to regulate temperature from 20 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The sensor tube can be inserted into a refrigerator or freezer, and still allows the door gasket to seal tight. Temperature Range of 20 to 80F. This Johnson unit can handle 15 amps or 1725 watts at 115 volts AC.

    BrewBuilt® Boil Vigor Controller

    1 review

Due to high demand, this item is currently out of stock. Be the first to receive your items by placing a pre-order today. We will automatically ship this to you when we receive more inventory.   304 stainless steel splash resistant construction Industrial design using commericial quality components for long life and easy serviceability Digital power reading for precise repeatability. No more guessing if you found the sweet spot on the dial Outlet fully disconnected when powered off for added safety, unlike some one-leg designs Linear power control for better repeatability at low power settings Wall mount bracket allows you to get the controller off the table and out of the way Dial your brew day up to 11 with the BrewBuilt™ Boil Vigor Controller! This controller allows you to control the current of a 208-240V heating element up to 30 amps. Perfect for dialing in your boil vigor for more consistent boil-off rates or adjusting the heat input to a still wash pot. The controller works by adjusting the percentage of power delivered to the heating element. The power is increased in a linear fashion from 0 to 100% as you adjust the dial from 1 to 11. Features industrial-style power switch, dial knob, and digital amm meter mounted on a splash resistant stainless steel enclosure. Pre-cut mounting holes allow you to hang the controller on your brew stand on the wall at eye-level. We highly recommend mounting the controller so you don't have to worry about keeping an area of your table dry where you might lay it down. L6-30 connections with 4 ft. cords on either end. Compatible with all 208-240V elements 30 amps and lower. While L6-30 are the most common elements available, yours may need an adapter. The Boil Vigor Controller uses a generously overrated SSR with a very large fan-cooled heatsink for better reliability. An SSR's life expectancy is directly related to its operating temperature, and this unit is built with the lowest Q heat dissipation system offered at the homebrewing level. It includes a contactor to fully shut off both legs when you throw the power switch, making the free end of the cord safer when the element is not plugged in. The display gives you a reading of the actual current being consumed by your element in Amps. On some systems, a small change in the adjustment makes a large current change at the element, especially at lower settings used during hop stands and distillation. The BrewBuilt controller provides a linear control and a digital readout to eliminate the guessing, allowing you to focus on your process and not your equipment. If you'd prefer not to mount the controller to your wall, consider the stainless steel Controller Stand.   **Caution: In order to avoid injury or death we strongly recommend using a GFCI in any circuit used near water. You can find one here.**

  • LinkTech - High Temp Plastic Female Quick Disconnect (QD) - 1/2 in Barb LinkTech - High Temp Plastic Female Quick Disconnect (QD) - 1/2 in Barb

LinkTech High Temp Plastic Female Quick Disconnect (QD) | 1/2" Barb

    1 review

The LinkTech 60PS Series is a lineup of premium plastic Quick Disconnects.  These High Quality QDs are made from medical grade polypropylene, a high-strength plastic that is temperature tolerant 160° (Max!), and can handle pressure ranging from a vacuum to 60 psi. All of the 60PS Series will interconnect, and these units will also work seamlessly (and leaklessly!) with CPC Quick Disconnects of the same internal 3/8” flow path.  O-rings are a EPDM Rubber, and internal valve springs are constructed from 316 Stainless steel. This is a Female Socket, that can connect to any H501 Series Male Plugs.  It has a 1/2" Hose Barb on the other end for attaching any 1/2" ID tubing. While not quite as bulletproof as our Stainless Steel Quick Disconnects, this lineup does offer a few advantages.  These can be set up with Shutoffs, which will prevent flow when disconnected, and can be incredibly useful on Pump or Glycol systems.  The pricing of these products is more economical, yet the plastic is still medical grade.  All in all, these are a premium lineup of quick disconnects with great features and lots of options. Features: LinkTech brand 60PS Series Connections: Female Socket Quick Disconnect 1/2" Barb Medical Grade Materials: Body: High-Strength Polypropylene Spring: 316 Stainless Steel O-Ring: EPDM Operating Pressure: Vacuum to 60 PSI Temperature Tolerance: -40 to 280°F (-40 to 138°C) 3/8" Flow Path Interchangeable with CPC - Colder HFC35 Series

  • Premium Breathable Silicone Carboy Hood

    Carboy Hood (Silicone) - Breathable

    8 reviews

We recently discovered this premium breathable silicone carboy hood and were immediately impressed with its robust design and features. To start with, the hood is designed to fit over the top of your carboy so you never have to worry about an airlock/stopper popping off of your carboy Where the hood really shines is in its two-piece design. When set to the open position, the bung acts as an airlock and allows the release of CO2 while maintaining a seal against oxygen coming in.? When fermentation is over and you no longer want the bung to "breathe" out, you just push the center cap into the bung to create a firm seal and the FE496 becomes a solid stopper! The FE496 fits all of our glass carboys and our 5 gallon and 6 gallon "Better Bottles".

  • Kegmenter - 4 in. T.C. Pressure Lid - 2 in. T.C. Port Kegmenter - 4 in. T.C. Pressure Lid - 2 in. T.C. Port

    Tri-Clamp Pressure Lid for Kegmenter Fermentation Keg | 4" x 2" T.C.

Oxygen-Free Dry Hopping: Designed to allow dry hopping without exposing the batch to oxygen when used in combination with the 2" Hop Bong, 2" Butterfly Valve and additional accessories. Customizable with Accessories: Features undrilled ports for optional accessories such as the Temp Twister Cooling Coil and Thermowell, enhancing functionality and convenience. Improved WiFi Reading: The plastic lid improves KegLand RAPT Pill WiFi reading, ensuring better connectivity. Durable and Pressure-Resistant: Includes 4" and 2" Tri-Clamp ferrules, suitable for use up to 21 psi, with recommended PRV options for safe operation at specified pressures. Compatible with all Kegmenter Fermentation Kegs with 4" Tri-Clamp ferrule. See the Kegmenter Hop Bong Pressure Pack for a complete kit option. Upgrade your Kegmenter Fermentation Keg with this 4" Tri-Clamp Lid from KegLand. Add yeast, hops or even take samples from a wine thief from the top and not have to remove the entire lid. This particular lid was designed to address the growing desire to dry hop without exposing the batch to oxygen from opening the lid. By using this lid in conjunction with the FermZilla 2" Butterfly Valve and Hop Bong Kit, you will be able to purge CO2 into the tube and expel all the oxygen inside it and dump freely into the vessel. The lid features closed ports that can be drilled out to install optional accessories like the Temp Twister Cooling Coil and a Thermowell. The plastic lid also allows for improved KegLand RAPT Pill WiFi reading compared to the Kegmenter fully encasing the Pill in stainless steel. Due to the large 4" Tri-Clamp diameter, it is difficult to get higher pressures without leaking, therefore we suggest using the lid up to 21 psi. If you do not already own any of the Hop Bong fittings listed below, the Kegmenter Hop Bong Pressure Pack is also available as a complete kit. Features: (2) PCO1881 Male Ports Recommended for use with Red (Gas In) & Yellow (Bev Out) Ball Lock Caps PRV Port This should only be used with a Red 35 psi PRV or the Yellow 17 psi PRV. 2" T.C. Ferrule 4" T.C. Ferrule Undrilled Ports (for optional accessories): Thermowell Port (see below for FermZilla Thermowell kit) (2) Temp Twister Ports Please Note: Temp Twister will need to be bent on a 20° Angle in order to fit on the curved lid and align vertically in the tank.  Hop Bong To use the Pressure Lid with the 2" Hop Bong, we recommend the following fittings if you do not have them already: 2 x Red Ball Lock Cap (FE133) 1 x Yellow Ball Lock Cap (FE146) 1 x 4" Tri-Clamp, 3 Segment Clamp (H734) 1 x 4" Tri-Clamp Seal (FF401) 3 x 2" Tri-Clamp (FF200) 3 x 2" Tri-Clamp Seal (FF201) 1 x 2" Butterfly Valve (FE198) 1 x 2" Hop Bong (FE202) 1 x 2" Hop Bong Cap (FE204) 1 x PCO1881 PRV Cap (KG523) 1 x Red 35 psi PRV (FE101C) Please note: The last product photo is an example image of what the lid looks like fully fitted out with the Hop Bong and other accessories that are not included with the lid.

  • RAPT Temperature Controlled Fermentation Chamber - 110V - PLACEHOLDER RAPT Temperature Controlled Fermentation Chamber - 110V - PLACEHOLDER

    RAPT Temperature Controlled Fermentation Chamber

    2 reviews

Achieve perfect fermentation with a the purpose-built RAPT Fermentation Chamber Control and monitor fermentation profiles via WiFi or Bluetooth using the RAPT IoT Hub, offering a true "set-and-forget" experience with alerts and notifications Features 50W heating power and 300W cooling capacity, ideal for a variety of applications including brewing beer, fermenting yogurt, making wine, or even leavening bread Functions as both a fermentation chamber and a high-capacity kegerator, capable of holding up to four 5-gallon kegs with additional space for smaller kegs Equipped with a 2.8" color TFT screen for easy access to temperature logs, profiles, and settings, plus compatibility with thermowells for precise core temperature readings Available with standard solid door or glass door. Both options will include the solid door installed on the unit. You will need to install the glass door when the unit arrives. Finally, a purpose-built fermentation chamber! Homebrewers have been repurposing refrigerators for fermentation temperature control since as far back as we can remember—and with good reason. These appliances provide excellent insulation from outside temperatures, are usually large enough to fit a typical fermenter used for 5-gallon batches, and provide incredibly even temperature distribution compared to immersed cooling coils. But to call the RAPT a refrigerator made for brewers would be doing this unit a huge disservice. KegLand has engineered a fermentation chamber that cools, heats, and automatically guides your beer through your very own programmed fermentation profiles which can be monitored and controlled remotely via WiFi or Bluetooth.  Virtually any homemade product can be greatly improved with perfect temperature control. The RAPT Fermentation Chamber gives you an electrically efficient means of setting, monitoring and controlling temperature which is perfect for beer making, wine making, salami making, leavening bread, fermenting yogurt, kombucha, kimchi, sauerkraut, making cheers, spirit washes, germinating seeds, growing sprouts, and much, much more. Accurate temp control is one of the most crucial factors to getting reliable and repeatable results. The RAPT's control panel comes complete with an integrated color TFT screen. The 4-button color display conveniently shows a log of historic temperature graphs, allows you to start/set/stop temperature profiles, and gives you access to other critical information for that particular fermentation. An integrated secondary regulator can be used to regulate gas into the fridge with the Duotight In-Line Regulator on one side, and on the other you can install an integrated BlowTie 2 Spunding Valve to regulate residual pressure in your fermenter. For more accurate readings of the core temperature of your fermenter,  we highly recommend using a thermowell and the 6.5 ft. probe extension. If you're using a FermZilla, check out this thermowell with Duotight bulkhead. Perfect as a Kegerator too! This multipurpose fridge can also be used as a kegerator. In particularly cold climates where the ambient temp is below zero, this fridge can warm your kegs and prevent them from freezing. This fridge also has a higher keg storage capacity than a conventional kegerator that takes up the same footprint. This unit can hold 4 x 5-gallon kegs on the floor and has enough headroom that you can also fit another layer of 2.5-gallon half size kegs above. To fit beer taps you can drill your own holes through the door. What is RAPT? RAPT is a dedicated Internet of Things (IOT) Hub for fermentation logging and control. It's a free service whereby any RAPT-enabled product can both log and store data to the hub where you can conveniently access it. The RAPT hub can also allow you to control your devices remotely giving you absolute control of the device irrespective of where you are. The RAPT portal enables you to make complex temperature profiles that involve different temperature settings over time meaning you can start/run a temp profile giving you a set and forget experience. The RAPT portal also controls the alert/notification process for you so you can receive email notifications in the off chance that something doesn't go to plan. Specifications: Integrated Heating: 50W Heating Power Cooling Capacity: 300W Cooling Power Max Power Consumption: 225W Refrigerant: r600a Connectivity: WiFi (802.11) and Bluetooth Temperature Accuracy: +/- 0.1°C Temp Resolution: 0.1°C Integrated Screen: 2.8" (diagonal) 320 x 240 Color LCD TFT Active Matrix 110V ETL Certified External Dimensions: Width: 21.25" Depth: 24" Height: 69.3" Internal Dimensions: Width: 17.3" Depth: 19.6" Height: 51.2" Why Buy a Fridge Over a Glycol Chiller? Although we've had great success controlling fermentation temps with an immersed cooling apparatus with a glycol chiller providing the cooling solution, these setups do present several potential issues: Glycol chillers often require a very cold liquid to enter into a fermenter causing an excessively cold part in the fermenter core which leads to uneven temperature distribution. Glycol chillers consume significant amounts of power and in most instances more than double what this fridge would consume. Glycol chillers often result in spilling sticky glycol especially when hoses are connected and disconnected to the fermenter.  Glycol chillers generally require penetrations through the walls/lid of the fermenter making the fermenter less sanitary and requiring more cleaning. Often fermenters are not made with sufficient insulation, so when using a glycol chiller much of the chilling is lost to the ambient environment. This is not only power inefficient but you can end up with a large temperature gradient. This temperature gradient can result in convection currents in the fermenter that make it difficult for yeast and other solids to settle out of suspension so clarification of the beer takes significantly longer. Many glycol chillers and fermenter combinations do not have sufficient power or are not well enough insulated to cool to sub-freezing temperatures so cold crashing is not possible. This is a significant compromise to a temperature-controlled solution and also results in less ability to clarify the finished beer. For these reasons KegLand has developed the world's first dedicated RAPT-enabled fermentation chamber that can cool down to -2°C (28°F) and heat up to 50°C (122°F) even in hot and cold weather.   KegLand Part Number: KL18258

Tilt® Pro Hydrometer and Thermometer - Blue

    1 review

New and improved with the professional brewer in mind, the Tilt Pro is the bigger, badder version of the original Tilt Hydrometer. With three times the volume and weight as the original unit, the Tilt Pro's larger size allows for more than double the batter life. With preinstalled Energizer® AA lithium batteries, the Pro will stay powered for up to 5 years depending on usage. So much time you may forget your Tilt actually runs on a battery! The extra size and weight come with an added bonus: improved specific gravity stability at high krausen, so you will see a steadier read-out on your iPhone, Android, or Raspberry Pi. In addition, Tilt Pro has boosted the range with a high-gain antenna that in testing increased range by 20% vs. the original Tilt. Now you can see your Tilt through thicker heads of foam and heavier stainless steel walls. To top it off they've included the extra decimal of precision available from the sensors and to the read-out so there are now decimal degrees Fahrenheit as well as higher resolution Celsius. Specific gravity now reads out to the 10,000th place (for example 1.0000). You can now see fermentation activity dropping less than a brewer's point per day. In all they've made several adjustments we believe the craft beer professional (and serious home brewer) is sure to appreciate. Specifications: Size: 1.7" (43mm) diameter (max) by 5.4" (140mm) tall Weight: 5.4 ounces (153g) Specific Gravity Measurement Range: 0.9900 - 1.1200 Specific Gravity Resolution: 0.00001 Temperature Measurement Range: 0°F - 140°F (-17.8°C - 60°C) Note: Installed lithium batteries include a built in PTC (heat activated fuse) that will temporarily cut power if batteries exceed 140°F. • Economy Aeration-Oxidation Free SO2 Test Kit

Economy Aeration-Oxidation Free SO2 Test Kit

    15 reviews

Finally - Accurate & Affordable Free SO2 Testing! In winemaking, Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) is one of the most important and effective tools in the winemaker's arsenal for protecting against the effects of oxidative or microbial spoilage. Unfortunately, over time any SO2 added to a wine will be consumed due to its interaction with the very things that it is protecting the wine from. The ability to accurately monitor the amount of SO2 remaining available in a wine to protect it - termed Free SO2 - is hugely important when it comes to ensuring that the wine makes it through the aging process safely. For years MoreWine! has offered a variety of methods for testing the level of Free SO2 in a wine. Until now, winemakers had to make a choice between inexpensive test kits which lacked accuracy and kits which are highly accurate but cost hundreds of dollars. Now MoreWine! has developed an inexpensive AND accurate test kit which we feel has a place in every home winery. Based on the exact same science as our original Aeration-Oxidation test kit, our new Economy Aeration-Oxidation kit offers a high degree of accuracy for a fraction of the price. Aeration-Oxidation is the exact same testing method used in thousands of commercial wineries and wine analysis laboratories around the world. It is time-tested and proven accurate and is simple to perform. Our kit includes:   All the glassware and tubing needed to set up a 2-chamber test apparatus Pipettes to accurately measure your wine sample and chemicals An aspiration pump to drive the chemical reaction in the test method Enough chemical reagents to run 2-3 tests Clear and comprehensive instructions for setting up and running the system PLEASE NOTE: This kit ships with a small bottle of 25% phosphoric acid which is required for the test. At this strength phosphoric acid is considered a hazardous material and we are not certified to ship larger quantities. We recommend that you investigate the possibility of sourcing it locally, through a laboratory supply company. If this is not possible, you can purchase it through us; see part #s MT108DS & MT108BDS. The high cost of these bottles reflects the $20 surcharge which FedEx adds to handle a hazardous shipment. These bottles ship directly from our supplier's warehouse and will take a couple of extra days to arrive. Click here to download a copy of our instruction manual for this kit.

Speidel Plastic Fermenter | Rectangular HDPE Storage Tank | 200L | 52.8 gal

    1 review

Heavy-duty HDPE plastic fermentation and stoarge tank Made from food-safe materials with extra thick walls to preserve the aroma of your beverage Rotating plastic spigot eliminates the need to use an auto-siphon or racking arm to transfer liquid Wide top port opening for easy cleaning Airlock & stopper included Made in Germany by Speidel The future is here today, and the future is HDPE Fermentation & Storage Tanks from Speidel. Made in Germany from nothing but undyed and food-safe plastic, these tanks are produced with particularly thick walls which preserves the aroma and the alcohol for a markedly long time. The stable carrying handles have been tried and tested for decades and are extremely durable. Are you tired of carboys? Hate siphoning to transfer? Wish you could ferment larger batches in a single container? Sick of lifting 50lbs by a small metal handle? Done with worrying about shattered glass, injury and lost product? Well then have we got the solution for you! These heavy duty plastic tanks offer a fantastic fermentation & storage solution at a great price. Key Features: Heavy duty HDPE construction is durable and resists oxygen transfer. None of the risks of working with glass. Small footprint and rectangular shape makes them easy to store - take better advantage of the space you have to dedicate to wine & beer making. Large lid opening makes them easy to clean by hand - say goodbye to your carboy brush! All ports seal with gaskets and the vessel can be fully sealed for long-term storage. Includes a spigot and oversized 2-piece Speidel airlock. Designed and manufactured in Germany by Speidel, the makers of our legendary commercial wine tanks 32"L x 22"W x 32"H, 19.84 lbs FAQ: Can filled containers be carried by the handles? Depending on the weight—barrels up to 30L are no problem—60L is the limit and should not be carried when completely full. The handles have a weight capacity of 30kg (66 lbs). Is there an upper limit on the alcohol content of the stored liquid? In principle, there is not. However, it should be noted that the higher the alcohol content, the faster the seals and, to a lesser extent, the tank itself will wear out. Up to what temperature can the containers be used? For short periods of time the containers can withstand temperatures of up to 80°C (176°F). This temperature should not be exceeded. For longer periods of time the containers can be used at temperatures up to 60°C (140°F).

Blichmann Cornical Fermenter - Full System

    1 review

The Cornical™ is a new, unique offering from Blichmann that allows you ferment and keg in the same vessel. Saving you on both time and labor. Built with sanitary stainless steel and rated up to 50 psi you can perform a no chill transfer and ferment under pressure. It is made from two main pieces. The first is a modular keg with a removable base that makes cleaning fast and easy. The second part is a versatile conical bottom that clamps onto the keg and converts it into a pressure capable fermentor. With the upcoming addition of Spunding valve accessory you will be able to control pressure during fermentation. Allowing you to have even greater control over your fermentation profile. This modular design allows you to use the conical bottom to ferment another batch on a different keg while you carbonate and drink your first batch all in same fermentation vessel. Thus eliminating the kegging step and cutting down the risk of possibly introducing your beer to oxygen and bacteria. Features: Ferment, carbonate, and serve all from a single vessel Sanitary sample valve with rotating racking arm Keg can be used as a fermentor or a serving keg Cleaning made easy with a removable bottom 1.5 in. butterfly dump valve Rated up to 50 psi Made from sanitary stainless steel Note: The Cornical can be bought as a complete system (both Keg and Fermentation Kit) or you can buy a Keg or Fermentation Kit on their own.

  • Filter Sheets - 20 cm x 20 cm (1.5 Micron) - PLACEHOLDER

    Filter Sheets - 20 cm x 20 cm (1.5 Micron)

    1 review

20cm x 20cm filter pads made for 20x20 plate filters. 1.5 micron pads are for fine polishing of the wine, or for preparing wines to go through a sterile cartridge filter. Please note that all pad filters are rated 'nominal', meaning that about 90-95% of all particulate matter at the micron rating will be filtered out. There will always be a little bit of smaller material that is also filtered out, as well as some larger material that will make it through. The filters can be sterilized by in-line steam, auto-claving, dry heat, hot water or chemical methods. We choose to run Saniclean (CL27) solution through the pads followed by sterile water or a small amount of wine that is then discarded. After the solution is run through the pads, and the pads have softened, the filter will need to be re-tightened. Each pad has an entry side and an exit side, distinguishable by their different textures. The entry side is a billowy type texture, frequently called the "rough" side; and the exit side has a crosshatch pattern and is commonly called the "smooth" side. For more information on how to load filter sheets into your plate and frame filter, see our Guide to Plate Filtering.

  • DigiBoil Complete Still Kit (35L) - Copper Reflux Still Condenser - PLACEHOLDER DigiBoil Complete Still Kit (35L) - Copper Reflux Still Condenser - PLACEHOLDER

35L DigiBoil Still Kit with Copper Reflux Still Condenser

    1 review

Ready to dive into distilling, but unsure how to piece together your home still? Check out these complete systems that will set you on the path to producing high quality spirits. This kit comes with the 35L DigiBoil Electric Kettle and the Copper Reflux Still Condenser. The Copper Reflux Still Condenser is designed to create high percentage pure neutral spirit.  It features a flow management device, which makes it extremely easy to use. No need to worry about fine tuning the water flow speed. As long as your providing enough coolant or cold water running through the condenser, the flow rate doesn't matter. The purity of the spirit can be controlled by two included flow control inserts. These brass inserts come with a 1.0mm hole and 0.6mm hole. As the hole gets smaller, the rate at which the spirit exits the condenser will decrease, thus increasing your reflux ratio and the purity of your spirit. If you want to make whiskeys and gins we recommend checking out the pot still kit! Made from solid copper. When your hot spirit comes into contact with the copper, the copper acts like a catalytic converter to drive sulfur out of the spirit. This leads to less off-flavors and higher quality spirit.  Kit Includes: 35L DigiBoil Gen 2 (110V or 220V) Copper Reflux Still Condenser w/ Barb Connections 13 mm Inlet/Outlet Barbs (0.51 in.) Distillation Lid & Gasket Set of Adjustable Lid Clamps   Warning: Distilling alcohol without permits or licensing is illegal in many countries, including the United States.  It is the customer's responsibility to research their local, state, and federal laws and abide by those laws. Brewmaster is not responsible for any damage or injury caused by either misuse or unlawful use. Stills can also be used to produce essential oils, vinegar, purified water and engine fuel (requires permit in USA).

  • BrewRO Inline TDS Monitor BrewRO Inline TDS Monitor

Inline TDS Monitor for BrewRO System

A must-have accessory for the BrewRO System! The TDS Monitor hooks up to the incoming and outgoing lines of the BrewRO to measure total dissolved solids. By flipping the switch back and forth you'll be able to see the level of total dissolved solids present in the water entering the system and how pure the water is coming out. Under normal conditions, the Brew RO System will output water that measures between 0 - 2 ppm TDS (99.9998% purity). The best part of the TDS Monitor is that it removes the guesswork of when to change your filters. When the outgoing measurement reads 3 ppm or higher, it's time to order a new set.

  • Ss Recirculation Kit for InfuSsion Mash Tun

Ss Brewtech Recirculation Kit for InfuSsion Mash Tun

Compatible with the new T.C. model and the original InfuSsion Mash Tun. This kit is designed to include all the necessary components to use the recirculation bulkhead included with the InfuSsion Mash Tun for vorlauf and mash recirculation processes. To install the kit on a standard mashtun begin by installing the included 1/2" FPT x 1/2" Barb on the exterior of your mash tun's recirculation bulkhead.  Be sure to use PTFE tape for a liquid-tight seal. If using the supplied kit on a TC mashtun, begin installation with included 3/4" TC to 1/2" 90 Barb, 3/4" TC gasket and clamp. Next, locate the 3/8" knurled locknut, 3/8" silicone tubing, and recirculation manifold.  Trim the tubing to your desired length, and then use the hose clamps to secure the two ends of the tubing to the manifold and locknut.  As a best practice, begin the mash recirculation for the first 5-10 mins using the vorlauf attachment to clear any small grain particulate and to set the mash bed, then swap the vorlauf attachment for the recirculation manifold for the remainder of the mash rest.  Please keep in mind this kit is designed to use with a wort pump and an external heat source, such as a RIMS tube to maintain mash temps, which is not supplied. Includes: Recirculation Manifold Vorlauf Attachment 3/8" Barb to 1/2" FPT Knurled Locknut (2) 3/8" Stainless Hose Clamps 1 Foot of 3/8" ID Silicone Tubing 1/2" FPT to 1/2" Hose Barb or 3/4" TC barb with gasket and clamp 3/4" TC to 1/2" 90 Barb ( for use with TC Mashtun )  3/4" TC Clamp ( for use with TC Mashtun )  3/4" TC Gasket ( for use with TC Mashtun )
