Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME)
MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.

Fabulous ????
It was a hit! Added the glitter to the keg before serving and stayed suspended nicely. Nice hoppy flavor.

I would Make The Kit Again!
The kit turned out great! After only a week of bottling conditioning, I would say you get a more citrus (grapefruit) flavor than hops. It is very easy to drink and looks good poured in a glass.

Farter's Day Brew
So kids asked what I wanted for Father's Day and ended up buying me this recipe kit. I found the glitter to be problematic for me since I bottle condition my beer. The glitter doesn't stay in suspension and settles with my yeast sediment at the bottom of the bottle. I normally pour my bottled beer leaving the sediment behind which also leaves the glitter behind. My suggestion for those who bottle condition is to not add the glitter until pouring your conditioned beer into a glass so that the only suspended particles you see in your beer is the glitter. Adding a small amount of glitter into the glass before pouring your beer from the bottle would work. Enough about glitter.

Beer itself tasted fine and was a fun experiment.
Lots of glitter!

Ridiculous but fun.
A friend requested it and funded it, so I made it. Decent non-bitter hoppy pale ale with all those fruity hops.

Because the glitter settles after an hour or so, skip the keg and go straight to bottle priming. I filled from the keg and felt like I needed to shake it up a couple times during the process to keep it all suspended. And if you just leave it in the keg for a few days before serving, you'll get one or two super sparkly pours and then a standard beer thereafter. Skip all that and go straight to bottles.

Don't over carbonate
Has a hint of cinnamon and roast beef. Be careful not to over carbonate, this beer can make you gassy. I prefer to use an English Ale yeast with this one.
